Here are very close expenses that you can plan on for your trip per person: 

Transportation:     $55.00 (includes 2 trips to airport, market, la Sirena, beach and misc.)

Food/Food Prep:  $135.00

Beach +*               $35-45 depending on season - This is a very nice resort, see below.

Total:                      $225.00   +  Whatever airfare you incur from your home to LAS. 

*If you want to go shopping plan on bringing some money for that. If you want to buy some stuff to take home plan on extra money for that.  The Beach is all inclusive typically and is about $35.00 American for the day at Barcello Capella.  I would plan on an extra $100 to pay for the beach, a major league baseball game in Santo Domingo which some teams go to, souveniers, sodas or ice cream in Hainamosa.  It all can vary depending on what you do.
